RANI OF JHANSI scored her first career success this afternoon in winning the seven furlong Maiden Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield Park under Callum Shepherd.
The three-year-old filly broke well and remained close up throughout, was shaken up to lead from two furlongs out, quickened clear over one furlong out and went on to win comfortably by two lengths.By Invincible Spirit IRE out of former stable favourite Madame Chiang GB, Rani Of Jhansi is trained by David Simcock for owner/breeder Miss K Rausing.
