FORGE VALLEY LAD secured his first victory for the stable in taking the one mile and two furlong handicap at Chelmsford City this evening under Luke Morris.
Held up in rear, the four-year-old gelding was switched right to make headway over one furlong out, challenged the leader inside the final furlong and kept on to win by one and a half lengths.By Cityscape GB out of Tamara GB, Forge Valley Lad is trained by David Simcock for A M Pickering and was having his second outing for the yard.
