Prejudice & Bless Him's Newcastle double
28 March 2022
It was a successful evening at Newcastle for the Trillium Place team, with both Prejudice and Bless Him getting back to winning ways under Jamie Spencer.
First up was Prejudice, who took the opening one mile and two furlongs handicap. The six-year-old gelding led the chasing pack patiently to a clear leader, was shaken up and made headway over two furlongs out, led entering the final furlong and was ridden to finish, winning by a neck. By Dubawi IRE out of Ever Rigg GB, Prejudice is trained by David Simcock for St Albans Bloodstock Limited and Associates.
Bless Him then secured victory in the evening's feature seven furlong handicap. Held up in last, as is his want, Bless Him travelled well until making rapid headway from over one furlong out, was ridden to lead towards the finish and won by a neck. Now an eight-year-old gelding, by Sea The Stars IRE out of Happy Land IRE, Bless Him is trained by David Simcock for Tony Perkins and Partners.
