Clitheroe off the mark !

CLITHEROE won the opener at Lingfield Park on Saturday, a six furlong fillies' novice stakes, on season reappearance under Jamie Spencer.
Now a three-year-old, Clitheroe ran in midfield until switched left over two furlongs out to make headway. She was pushed along and ridden to press the leaders one furlong out, took the lead and kept on well to win by one and a quarter lengths.By Ribchester IRE out of Cheap Thrills GB, Clitheroe is trained by David Simcock for St Albans Bloodstock Ltd.
