FORGE VALLEY LAD returned to winning ways this evening at Lingfield Park, taking the one mile and four furlong handicap comfortably under Stevie Donohoe.
The five-year-old gelding chased the clear leader and remained prominent throughout, led from two furlongs out and was then shaken up inside the final furlong, running on well to win by two and a quarter lengths.Forge Valley Lad was scoring his fourth career success and is trained by David Simcock for Mr A M Pickering.
