AT eight year of age Bless Him knows how pull something off and today he did just that, winning the seven furlong Bunbury Cup Heritage Handicap at Newmarket July Course, under Jamie Spencer.
Bless Him was held up in rear from the off until pushed along from two furlongs out. He made smooth headway one furlong out and was ridden inside the final furlong, running on to lead in the final strides and win by one and a quarter lengths.A yard favourite, by Sea The Stars IRE out of Happy Land IRE, Bless Him is trained by David Simcock for Tony Perkins and Partners.
