Glen Cove off the mark !

GLEN COVE broke his maiden this afternoon taking the one mile and four furlongs handicap at Wolverhampton under Joey Haynes.
Held up in midfield, Glen Cove made smooth headway from three furlongs out, went second and was travelling easily two furlongs out, was ridden and led one furlong out, then held on to win by a short head. A three-year-old gelding, by Ardad IRE out of North East Bay USA, Glen Cove is trained by David Simcock for Katherine Stewart and Alison Jackson.
