MASTERCLASS got off the mark this afternoon by taking the six furlong Maiden Stakes at Brighton under Callum Shepherd.
Having his sixth racecourse visit, the three-year-old gelding was held up behind the leaders until pushed along over two furlongs out. He was ridden to challenge in the final furlong and took the lead close home, winning by a nose.By Lethal Force IRE out of Kensington Gardens GB, Masterclass is trained by David Simcock for John Cook and Partner.
