Feature win for Smart Champion

SMART CHAMPION scored his fourth career success this evening when winning the two miles feature Handicap at Kempton Park under a patient ride by Saffie Osborne.
The seven-year-old gelding was typically away slowly and settled at the rear of the field until ridden from two furlongs out to challenge, then stayed on well to pass the entire field, taking the lead close home and winning by half a length.
