Win for Kaif

THREE-YEAR-OLD filly Kaif got off the mark this afternoon, at only her second attempt, taking the seven furlongs Maiden Stakes at Redcar under Hayley Turner.
She was ridden prominently and edged left to the far side over four furlongs out, then shaken up to press the leader from over two furlongs out, was pushed along and led one furlong out and kept on well inside the final furlong to win comfortably by one and a half lengths.
