Eltham Palace gets off the mark

ELTHAM PALACE got off the mark this evening at Chelmsford in the one mile and two furlongs Handicap Div I under yard apprentice Olivia Haines, who was also celebrating her first win.
The five-year-old mare took a keen hold and travelled in touch with the leaders, was switched right to the outer under two furlongs out and made headway to challenge down the centre.
