Dalby Forest off the mark !

DALBY FOREST scored his first career win this evening taking the opening five furlong apprentice handicap at Chelmsford, under a determined ride by stable apprentice Olivia Haines.
Having broken well from the stalls the four-year-old gelding raced in second, edged right coming off the bend when the saddle then slipped. Olivia managed to stay on board, nudged him along and gave him one reminder, he ran on well and took the lead in the final strides to win by a neck.
