Restrict breaks his maiden

THERE was a first win for Restrict this afternoon when taking the six furlong maiden stakes at Wolverhampton under a well-timed ride by Hayley Turner.
The three-year-old colt raced behind the leaders until pushed along over two furlongs out, was switched right to make headway inside the final furlong, then kept on well to lead close home and win by half a length. By Collected USA out of Short Squeeze USA, Restrict is trained by David Simcock for Saeed Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi and was having only his third racecourse outing.
