AT his fifth attempt Panning For Gold delivered success, taking the one mile handicap at Great Yarmouth this evening under a patient ride by Joey Haynes.
Held up in rear from the start, the three-year-old gelding was switched right and eased into the race from over two furlongs out, making headway to challenge inside the final furlong. Having gained confidence, he went on to lead inside the final half furlong and won by one and three quarters lengths, going away.By Galileo Gold GB out of Sweet Temptation IRE, Panning For Gold is trained by David Simcock for Never Say Die Partnership.
