ARARAT got off the mark this afternoon when taking the seven furlong handicap at Newmarket July Course under Pat Cosgrave.
The three-year-old gelding, having his sixth visit to a racecourse, raced prominently, was ridden and edged right over one furlong out and kept on well to win by one and a quarter lengths.By Kodiac GB out of Recife GER, Ararat is trained by David Simcock for Mohammed Jaber.
