Folk Star break her maiden

FOLK STAR got off the mark this evening when winning the one mile and three furlongs fillies' handicap at Kempton Park under Callum Shepherd.
Having broken well, the three-year-old then settled behind the leaders until making smooth headway to challenge over two furlongs out. She was then ridden from one furlong out and duelled for the lead, coming out on top to win by half a length.
