CITY OF YORK scored his third win of the year when taking the one mile handicap at Newbury this afternoon under Callum Shepherd.
The three-year-old gelding was ridden patiently in rear until making good headway over one furlong out, took the lead half a furlong out and ran on well to win by one and three-quarter lengths.By Cityscape GB out of Primrose Valley GB, City of York is trained by David Simcock for Mr. A M Pickering.
