SNIPER'S EYE broke his maiden this evening when taking the one mile novice stakes at Southwell in convincing form under Jamie Spencer.
Having been ridden prominently throughout, the three-year-old gelding made headway to lead from over one furlong out, then kept on well inside the final furlong to win by three-quarters of a length.By Expert Eye GB out of Popular GB, Sniper's Eye was having his fifth racecourse outing and is trained by David Simcock for Never Say Die Partnership.
