Lunar Eclipse wins on debut

IT was an impressive debut by Lunar Eclipse over seven furlongs on heavy ground this afternoon at Newmarket, giving Hayley Turner her nine hundred and ninety ninth career win.
The two-year-old filly was slow away and towards rear, made headway when carried right over one furlong out, was ridden and led inside the final furlong and kept on well to win by three-quarters of a length.By Night Of Thunder IRE out of Princess De Lune IRE, Lunar Eclipse is trained by David Simcock for Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum.
