Maiden win for Assail

ASSAIL got off the mark this evening, winning a one mile and one and a half furlong Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton under Luke Morris.
Having tracked the leaders, the three-year-old gelding made headway from over two furlongs out, led over one furlong out and kept on to win by a neck.By No Nay Never USA out of Pink Damsel IRE, Assail was having only his second career start and is trained by David Simcock for Raed El Youssef.
