Double for Optik

OPTIK completed a quick-fire double when winning the one mile one and a half furlongs handicap at Wolverhampton this evening, again under Hayley Turner.
Having initially led at a slow pace,  the four-year-old gelding was pushed along to make all, increasing the pace from over two furlongs out, ridden over one furlong out and ran on well to win by one and three-quarter lengths.
Optik, by Expert Eye GB out of Sliabh Luachra IRE, had won at the same track over one mile and four furlongs only three days earlier and is trained by David Simcock for John Cook and Partner.
