Charlatan off the mark

CHARLATAN got off the mark by winning the one mile handicap at Kempton Park this afternoon, under Callum Shepherd.
Having only his fifth run, the four-year-old gelding was settled in fourth place from the break, challenged for the lead from two furlongs out, led entering the final furlong and stayed on to win by a neck.By Mastercraftsman IRE out of Lyin Eyes GB, Charlatan is trained by David Simcock for Tick Tock Partnership.
