Optik went 'three from three' when winning the one mile and two furlongs Classified Stakes at Newcastle this afternoon, again under Hayley Turner.
Ridden prominently and close-up to the leader until making headway over two furlongs out, Optik led inside the two furlong marker and stayed on to win under a challenge by a short head.A four-year-old gelding by Expert Eye GB out of Sliabh Luachra IRE, Optik is trained by David Simcock for John Cook and Partner.
