Double for Lough Leane

LOUGH LEANE brought up his double by winning the one mile and a half furlong handicap at Wolverhampton this evening under Callum Shepherd.
Only eight days after his first success, the four-year-old gelding started prominently and was then held up in midfield. He made smooth headway to third place over two furlongs out, was ridden over one furlong out and kept on to lead on the line, winning by a nose.By Cityscape GB out of Kyllarney GB, Lough Leane is trained by David Simcock for Twenty Stars Partnership.
