TIDES OF WAR scored his first win for the yard when taking the one mile and six furlongs handicap at Goodwood this afternoon under Hayley Turner.
The six-year-old gelding was settled towards the rear of the field until making headway from three furlongs out, was edged right over one furlong out and ridden to dispute the lead, just holding on at the line to win by a short head.By Galileo IRE out of Walklikeanegyptian IRE, Tides Of War is trained by David Simcock for Mrs Fitri Hay.
