THORNTONLEDALE MAX scored his first career success when dead-heating for the seven furlong handicap at Kempton Park this evening under Callum Shepherd.
Having settled in midfield, the three-year-old gelding traveled well and made headway to lead over one furlong out, ran on in the final furlong and was just caught to share the spoils by a head-bob on the line.Thorntonledale Max, by Cityscape GB out of Primrose Valley, is trained by David Simcock for owner/breeder Mr A M Pickering.
