PFINGSTBERG scored his third win of the year, a first on an all-weather surface, when winning the two mile handicap at Chelmsford City this afternoon under Callum Shepherd.
Having led from the off he raced at a steady pace, required encouragement at half-way and was pushed along and headed over three furlongs out, dug deep and led again over one furlong out and kept on well inside the final furlong to win by three-quarters of a length.A four-year-old gelding by Protectionist GER out of Peace Of Paradise GER, Pfingstberg is trained by David Simcock for Quantum Leap Racing and Partner.
