Altanera gets off the mark

ALTANERA scored her first victory, at the fifth attempt, when finding her form in the one mile and six furlongs handicap at Wolverhampton this evening under Joey Haynes.
The three-year-old filly was settled in rear of the field, made good headway over two furlongs out, pressed the leader inside the final furlong and was ridden to win by three-quarters of a length.By Oasis Dream GB out of Albaraka GB, Altanera is trained by David Simcock for owner/breeder Miss K Rausing.
