Win for Caledonian

CALEDONIAN secured his first win when taking the seven furlong nursery handicap at Southwell this afternoon, under Hayley Turner.
The two-year-old gelding started keenly then settled in close order with the leaders, was ridden from two furlongs out and made headway from over one furlong out, led inside the final furlong and kept on to win by half a length.By Sottsass FR out of Sahara Sky IRE, Caledonian is trained by David Simcock for Mrs Fitri Hay.
