Whispering Warrior wins again

THE progressive Whispering Warrior continued to impress when taking a ten-furlong handicap at Newcastle this afternoon.

The son of Oasis Dream has won four out of his five starts since arriving at Trillium Place and is a horse on the up.

Jockey Jim Crowley gave him a confident ride, settling him towards the rear.

He travelled smoothly into the race and Crowley hadn’t moved a muscle as he loomed up to the leaders at the furlong pole.

He struck the front inside the final furlong and powered clear to win by two lengths.
