Could Be off the mark

01 July 2013

COULD Be kept up the tremendous form of the Trillium Place team when winning a 1m4f maiden at Wolverhampton this afternoon.

The son of Sakhee had run six times previously, but had only been out of the first four on one occasion, and deserved this break through success.

He was held up in the early stages by jockey Adam Kirby. He made headway along the back straight and rounded the final bend on the heels of the leaders.

It looked as though The Queen's runner, White Moth, was going to hold on but Could Be finished strongly to deny that runner by three quarters of a length.

This colt now heads for the July Sales.
