GEORGE Buckell gained the first British win of his career when riding Attraction Ticket to success in a 1m2f Apprentice Handicap at Epsom yesterday evening.

 Buckell, who has ridden five winners in Bahrain, settled Attraction Ticket at the rear of the field.

He made steady headway from three furlongs out, creeping into the race before kicking for hope and the furlong pole.
Attraction Ticket took over the running with 100yards to run and had enough up his sleeve to hold off Blue Deer by a head.
